At this time, Medicare does not provide coverage for massage and lymphedema therapies when provided by nurses and massage therapists. These services are usually only covered when provided by physical and occupational therapists. However, some insurance policies do cover these services, and we will be happy to contact your insurance carrier to determine your coverage. Referral to a physical therapist can be obtained if your insurance carrier dictates this.
Medicare does provide coverage for lymphedema bandages and compression garments. We will help you obtain these items, however, the cost will be your responsibility.
